The phone version can read incoming glucose values aloud, show them in a home screen widget, and display a floating glucose reading over other apps. It presents the usual glucose statistics, and other apps can pull data from Juggluco through glucose broadcasts and its built-in web server. Data can be sent to Health Connect, LibreView, and Nightscout, or exported to a file or transferred to another Juggluco installation on a phone, tablet, emulator, or watch. You can also set low and high glucose alarms and medication reminders.Getting startedTo use a Libre 2 sensor, scan it with Juggluco. To take over a Libre 3 sensor from Abbott's Libre 3-only app, enter the same account you used when activating the sensor under left menu, then Settings, then Exchange data, then LibreView, and tap Get account ID to receive a number from LibreView. When you scan the sensor, this number is sent to it. A LibreView account isn't required if you activate the Libre 3 sensor with Juggluco: just enter any number before scanning the sensor. The first time, it can take 2 to 10 minutes before Juggluco receives a glucose value over Bluetooth from the sensor. To avoid interference, force stop any apps and turn off devices that were previously used with the sensor. To keep Juggluco running in the background, allow background activity and disable battery optimization for Juggluco. Don't hide Juggluco's notification. After you scan a Libre 2 sensor with Juggluco, Abbott's Libre 2 app can only scan the sensor. (Two apps on the same phone can both receive glucose values from European Libre 2 sensors, but this may cause connection problems.) Libre 3 sensors can still return to Abbott's Libre 3-only app after being used with Juggluco: stop Juggluco and scan the sensor with Abbott's Libre 3 app, confirming that you want to end the current sensor and start a new one. When you switch back to Juggluco, you'll need to scan again. To scan, use left menu, then Photo, to capture the data matrix on the applicator for Dexcom G7/ONE+ sensors, the package for Sibionics GS1Sb and Linx/Aidex X sensors, the inner package for CareSens Air sensors, and the blue cap for Accu-Chek SmartGuide sensors. For the last one, enter the PIN when prompted. Warning: CareSens Air sensors can only switch devices once.
