JDM Racing: Drag & Drift Race is an atmospheric arcade racer from Black Fox Entertainment, featuring realistic physics, local and multiplayer races, and an impressive lineup of retro Japanese cars. The unusual rides are only part of the appeal, though. The developers have also broadened the gameplay with drifting, drag racing, circuit racing, and sprint trials on specially built tracks. Tired of racing against AI for no real reason? Why not build your own career in the spirit of Gran Turismo instead?
Atmosphere, Gameplay and Difficulty
Even during the tutorial, the JDM Racing developers quickly highlight what's on offer: you can "drive legendary cars, build your own career, unlock a variety of stunning tracks and unique vehicles, and enjoy 3D graphics and an advanced control system for every car." Do you have to stick to any set path? Not at all!
Nothing stops you from spending hours tinkering in the virtual Garage, bolting on spoilers and air intakes from whatever parts you've collected, then heading out to special training tracks to sharpen your skills and get familiar with the game's unusual competitive mechanics. From there, championship titles and a shot at climbing the international leaderboard are well within reach.
