Description
JB4 Mobile is a mobile data logger and display designed to work with the JB4 piggyback tuner from Burger Motorsports. To get connected, just plug the JB4 data cable into your device through an OTG cable.
*Choose a high-quality OTG cable to prevent connection problems. *If you keep seeing “Serial port not available” errors, one of these is likely the culprit:
1) Your OTG cable is faulty 2) Your device either lacks proper OTG support or needs a powered USB hub 3) You're using a Galaxy S6/S6 Edge (see below)
Galaxy S6/S6 Edge owners using an OTG cable: I've learned that these devices only work properly if you first attach the OTG cable to your phone, then plug in the JB4 cable, and only then open the app and connect. It's unclear why these models are so finicky, but at least someone discovered a workaround.
JB4 Mobile lets you keep an eye on several parameters of your JB4-equipped car at the same time. Readings such as boost PSI, RPM, fuel trims, air/fuel ratios, ignition advance, fuel pressure and much more are all accessible.

How to calibrate the G Force meter (required for 0-60 times): 1) Mount your device in your vehicle in a mostly upright position (portrait orientation only for now). 2) Select a G Force gauge on the display screen. 3) While the vehicle is fully stopped on a level surface, double tap the G Force gauge. 4) Once the dot sits centered in the circle with the car at rest on flat ground, the meter is calibrated. To change what a gauge shows, tap and hold it and a menu will pop up. To check your max boost, double tap the boost gauge (double tap again to return to live boost; max boost resets after viewing). JB4 Mobile is not affiliated with Burger Motorsports.
