Once the prologue wraps up, head to the camp by opening the map on the right. There, “Durad,” a knight of the dark cult, requests that you assassinate “Count Grafton,” a key figure in the empire. This kind of storyline progression makes you feel like a truly dark hero. Controls are handled with the gamepad, and attacking is as simple as moving close to an enemy and pressing the button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

From there, your character automatically keeps attacking at a rate determined by your weapon. Many conventional action RPGs make you hammer the attack button on the virtual pad over and over, but here the process is far more relaxed.

Travel through the forest at night while searching for the Count's whereabouts, and you'll soon clash with the cult's knights. If more than one enemy surrounds you, you'll take a beating, so keep a sensible distance and wait for a knight to step forward before striking.
