Infinitode 2 brings a tower-defense experience with a minimalist look while keeping the core elements that make the genre engaging. You'll be fully drawn into its challenging levels, upgrading your towers and choosing the right development path through research.
In Infinitode 2, you face the classic tower-defense challenge: place the towers you have to stop the enemies pouring out of the portal. Each tower offers different powers, so think carefully about which skills to use and upgrade. Every level presents new obstacles, and a deep research system awaits you.
TOWER DEFENSE LEVELS WITH A SIMPLE DESIGN
When you first start playing Infinitode 2, you'll notice a clean layout built from familiar tower-defense elements. The map is made of squares that hold the portal, your base, and the spots where towers can be placed. The game embraces a minimalist style, yet it still delivers the excitement and pressure the genre is known for. Many different levels are waiting for you to conquer.
Your job stays the same: stop the enemies coming from the portal before they reach your base. If the base's HP drops to zero, you'll have to replay that level. What makes it exciting is that you can see the enemies' movement paths before the game begins, so you can plan your defenses ahead of time. Place your towers wherever you like.
USE TOWERS TO CONQUER CHALLENGING LEVELS
As you progress through Infinitode 2, you'll gradually unlock new tower types and can position them anywhere you want to hit enemies most effectively. Each tower behaves differently. For example, the sniper tower fires a single highly accurate shot, but it needs time to reload before firing again.
When powerful, large enemies appear, you can spend the money you earn to upgrade your towers. Upgrades come in two main forms. The first is spending money to raise a tower to a higher level for greater damage. The second is that completing levels unlocks abilities for your towers, making their attacks even more effective.
MANY LEVELS ARE WAITING FOR YOU TO COMPLETE
Infinitode 2 features a series of levels, each with a star rating system. Everyone aims to clear a level with three stars, and since every map has its own design, you'll need to think carefully about where you place each tower. Completing these levels also unlocks new tower skills and gathers the resources you need for research.
Some levels drop items that you can use for research to boost your strength. The real challenge lies in research itself, which offers a varied set of development branches, much like a skill tree in RPG games.
