Description
In Infinite Knights, players take on the role of a hero who inherits the Sword in the Stone and sets out to battle the enemies rising from the Devil's Tower. Along the way you'll handle many different tasks, from developing your kingdom to recruiting powerful warriors who can help you conquer the tower's floors.
Infinite Knights is a turn-based battle game built around a fresh take on the legendary Sword in the Stone. You'll take up the power of King Arthur and push back the monsters steadily advancing on your kingdom. Your team also grows larger than you might expect, and you can upgrade each member and push past their usual limits.
DEVIL'S TOWER DISCOVERY
The story draws its inspiration from King Arthur's Sword in the Stone, and the foes humanity faces in Infinite Knights are demons. The Devil's Tower serves as a gateway that lets these demons enter our world. Aware of the monsters' plan to invade, King Arthur gathered the other Knights of the Round Table and joined the fight. Their enemy's strength, however, proved overwhelming, and our heroes were largely defeated.
King Arthur has since left the Sword in the Stone, waiting for a hero worthy enough to pull it free and save humanity. One day the main character arrives and succeeds, and at that moment the Lady of the Lake appears to explain what the young hero must do. After recruiting a warrior, they set out to conquer the Devil's Tower and stop the monsters that keep threatening the kingdom's safety.
CLIMB MANY FLOORS FILLED WITH MONSTERS
Once you step into the Devil's Tower in Infinite Knights, you'll spend your time facing the enemies that appear in front of you. Each encounter is a turn-based battle, and you must defeat the foes before you to advance to the next floor. Your journey only ends if the opponent manages to defeat you completely. Each character also starts with two basic skills, so you can strike your enemies as effectively as possible.
A yellow bar at the bottom of the screen shows each character's attack timing, and the closer a character sits to the right end of this bar, the sooner they will strike. At the start you're alone, so you'll only have one character to attack while many enemies strike back at you. You can use basic attacks or special skills, which require a certain amount of mana. As the enemies grow stronger, you'll need to recruit new and more powerful allies.
BUILD YOUR KINGDOM AND RECRUIT WARRIORS
One of the most engaging parts of Infinite Knights is growing your team while defending your kingdom. You'll spend your gold on renovating various parts of the kingdom, especially the castle. Doing so lets you recruit stronger warriors and raise your strength ceiling. Warriors come in ranks from 1 to 5 stars, and you can improve their levels and star ranks to break through the stat upgrade limit.
There are many ways to find a hero. You can spend gold in the hire section to unlock new teammates. Some of the rarest heroes, however, require large amounts of resources, especially diamonds, which you earn by completing quests, and their rarity is correspondingly higher.
The journey to conquer the Devil's Tower in this game is especially exciting because:
- The alternative story centers on the Sword in the Stone, which you can inherit to battle powerful enemies.
- You recruit a warrior and fight your way through the tower's first floors, confronting and defeating the enemies in your path.
- Each character has a unique power that grows over time, and you can find ways to raise every hero's star rank.
- Your missions are wonderfully varied, since you also upgrade the castle to gain new strength.
- Characters come in different star ranks, and there are many ways to unlock them and bring them onto your team.
