Huntopia’s overall art style

Huntopia draws on an anime look, closely resembling well-known RPGs like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves. Every model, from the environments to the characters and pets, is built with a low polygon count so the game runs smoothly on phones. Even so, the models are crafted with clean, appealing visual design, which gives Huntopia a genuinely beautiful overall appearance.

The interface in Huntopia is clean and well organized. Function buttons are placed smartly near the corners and edges of the screen, while key information such as status alerts appears in the center where it stands out. Text uses easy-to-read fonts at a comfortable size, taking up minimal screen space while still conveying information to the player clearly.

Huntopia’s character design

Huntopia’s characters blend realism with abstraction. They are relatively compact, roughly six to seven heads tall, yet still follow golden ratio proportions. As a result, both male and female characters look striking.

Although the character models use a low polygon count, they never look stiff. Huntopia applies the “Toon-Shading” technique effectively, giving the character surfaces a smooth finish. Costumes and accessories are also intricately detailed, adding visual appeal and expressing each character’s unique personality.

Straightforward combat gameplay

Huntopia mixes real-time combat, farming, and role-playing elements. That said, its gameplay leans toward farming and automatic combat. As a result, player skills such as kiting enemies or seizing openings are rarely needed. Character strength accounts for almost all of the combat in Huntopia.

Combat may be simple, but you still need to understand both your character’s moves and the enemy’s. Beyond basic effects like dealing damage, healing, or boosting defense, many moves interact with targets through dodging or crowd control. Timing your character’s skills well can greatly improve your results in battle.

Character gameplay design

As in most games, you must choose a companion character when you first log in before entering the world of Huntopia. The game offers four characters, each with a distinct playstyle:

• Saber: A flashy swordsman with hair and an eye-catching costume. Saber wields a greatsword and excels in melee, with exceptionally high attack and defense.
• Caster: A cute blue-haired mage. Caster attacks from range, has versatile skills, and offers effects no other character can match. Built to support teammates, Caster struggles more in solo content.
• Archer: A brown-blonde girl dressed in a blue-and-white, jungle-inspired style. Archer fights with a bow from long range, with fast attacks and solid damage. Her defense is weak, but attacking from afar helps her avoid enemy skills aimed at her.
• Assassin: A black-haired killer who fights with two short swords. Assassin is a melee character with quick, powerful strikes, and his moves can also evade enemy attacks. He is very strong in solo content but relies heavily on teammate support in group content.

What pets can you have in Huntopia?

In most games, pets are little more than decorations that keep the player company or boost the character’s stats. In Huntopia, pets actually fight alongside the player. They automatically attack the same target as your character at regular intervals and have their own skills, whose effects depend on their type. Pets contribute enormously to combat, and in the early stages their damage can match that of your character.

You can obtain pets through story missions, battles in fantasy content, or in-game events. You can also upgrade pets to increase their power.
