In Hunter Assassin, you take on the role of an assassin whose job is to strike down armed enemies roaming a specific area. One key tip: always strike from behind, since sneaking up on a target is far safer than charging at them head-on. As you progress, more enemies appear, so you'll need to move smartly to stay one step ahead.

The surroundings are packed with cover, including walls, crates, hidden corners, and plenty of other objects. This makes it easy to slip out of sight from different enemies. The game uses a top-down view, letting you watch enemy movements and find alternate routes to reach your targets, which adds a distinct appeal to every encounter.

COMPLETE MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS

Hunter Assassin features a range of levels, each with a single goal: eliminate all the required targets. The number of remaining targets is shown on the left side of the screen, so you always know how many are left to take out. Every enemy carries a rifle and a flashlight to light up dark areas, while your assassin needs no flashlight and can quickly take down a target.

Each target you eliminate drops gems right away, so the gruesome scenes you encounter are no cause for concern. Compared with your own viewing angle, the area an enemy's flashlight can cover is fairly limited. As long as a flashlight doesn't spot you, you won't come under attack, which is why it pays to prioritize enemies closest to the front of the level. You can move swiftly and easily through the environment.

What can stop you in a level is taking too much damage from enemies and getting defeated. Attacking an enemy head-on demands a fast strike, and you'll soon take injuries in return. Depending on how much damage you sustain, your character gradually turns red until you fall. Additionally, when every objective is cleared, the game grants bonus levels that offer a generous amount of gems.

UNLOCK DIFFERENT TYPES OF ASSASSINS

After clearing a set number of levels in Hunter Assassin, you'll have built up a good stock of gems. Unlocking a new character works through a randomization system: spend your gems and wait a few minutes for the randomization to complete. Right after that, you can use your newly unlocked character in upcoming levels. The game also sets various challenges to complete, which gives you more opportunities to earn gems.
