Kraken Hunt lives up to its name: you'll fight your way through hordes of enemies to reach a boat, then take on a many-tentacled Kraken.

In the world of Hunt Royale, you'll face all kinds of opponents, from monsters to other players. Your character comes with its own skills and can unleash powerful attacks with a range of different effects. The gameplay resembles Archero: you control your hero from a top-down view, which makes it easy to keep track of the action on screen. Everything is handled with one hand.

Move and attack enemies by following the cues on screen, and gather experience along the way. When the experience bar at the top of the screen fills up, you'll be offered a set of skill choices that build your hero's abilities over time. You won't be going through these levels alone, either: you'll tackle challenges alongside other players and gain healing effects in each environment. Every match includes a ranking system so you can see where you stand within your group.

Levels in this game fall into two modes: PvE and PvP. PvE levels usually have you teaming up with other players to defeat various enemies. PvP, on the other hand, pits players against one another, each trying to take down the others to rack up points. Your score climbs with every defeat, giving skilled players a chance to show what they can do and climb higher on the leaderboard.
