Description
Dunk City Dynasty is a mobile streetball simulator for Android. You build your own squad of basketball players and take them into street matches. The developers leaned heavily on cartoon visuals and flashy special effects to make the action pop. Newcomers start with a training session where they learn to work with basketball bots and pull off a slam dunk. Manual control and a long list of offensive and defensive moves are available, yet the final result of a match is largely out of your hands, and this becomes obvious from the early stages onward. The game includes several modes, along with the option to train your athletes to reach their peak performance. A voice-over commentator adds a nice touch, and the pacing never feels drawn out. The one downside is that the servers are located in Asia, so players in other regions may run into ping issues.
