As a hider, you need to find a good hiding place and also figure out how to lure others out of cover, guiding the seekers toward new targets. While the seeker focuses on that prey, they may forget you’re lurking nearby.

CAUGHT? HERE’S HOW TO GET BACK IN

If you’re unlucky or not yet skilled enough to stay hidden, the seeker will catch you and lock you in a cage. The game isn’t over yet, because your teammates can still rescue you. Wait for a moment when the seeker is distracted or away, and a teammate can sneak in and use a few tricks to free you. However, teammates don’t always arrive in time, and sometimes you may wait there with no one in sight. In that case, you’ll have to replay the level.

TELEPORTER TOOL

What if you spot a seeker approaching before you get caught? Hide ‘N Seek! gives you a tool called the teleporter. With it, you can move your character to another part of the map and dodge the seekers’ eyes, letting you escape a sticky situation quickly and easily. Keep in mind that it isn’t unlimited. The number of uses is restricted, especially in the early levels.
