For Xiaomi, MIUI, and Huawei device owners: grant floating popup permissions by navigating to Settings > Apps > Downloaded. You may also need to clear or reset the application's data settings.
This application utilizes the Device Administrator privilege strictly to resolve an issue where certain screens fail to light up. We suggest enabling this option only if you experience that specific display bug. Note that if administrative access is turned on, standard uninstallation will be disabled; to remove the app, navigate to System Settings > Security > Device Administrators > Heads-up and tap Disable first.
On older handsets running Android 4.2 or above, the app relies on accessibility services to detect incoming alerts. Conflicting third-party accessibility tools might intercept your notifications, so consider disabling them if Heads-up stops functioning.
