Description
Havenless puts you in a world overrun by dangerous infected, and you'll uncover the characters' stories as you go. Each person you meet comes with their own traits and circumstances, and you can interact with them in different ways. Since it's a story-focused game, you'll also face moments where you have to make choices that shape how the plot moves forward. If you enjoy narrative-driven adventures, this one is made for you.
SURVIVE IN AN INFECTED WORLD
An epidemic of unknown origin is tearing through the world in Havenless, spreading at a terrifying pace. Before anyone understood the danger, infected people were appearing everywhere and ordinary lives were thrown into chaos. You step into the shoes of a young woman who is trying to escape the infected after crossing paths with a priest named John. Her fate takes a turn for the worse when she herself becomes infected.
The infection brings a range of symptoms, and as it progresses, the heroine's eyesight fades until she can barely see at all. She learns to navigate her surroundings by listening and identifying things by sound. With her infection advancing and no way of knowing how much time she has left, she escapes the infected and eventually reunites with a group of survivors. This is where your journey truly begins.
INTERACT WITH OTHER CHARACTERS
Havenless lets you take your time uncovering what is happening in this perilous world. You follow the heroine and decide how to engage with the people around her. Important information surfaces along the way, presented through a variety of methods, so paying attention rewards you. You'll meet many characters as you continue exploring this world.
After bringing John to the hideout where the main character is staying, you'll meet a range of people: Lance, a handsome man in a vest; Shane, the main character's childhood friend; and Lily, a girl who lost her family during the pandemic. You'll keep building these relationships until you run into a problem that needs solving, and the way forward depends on the choice you make. Discovering how these characters respond to you is a big part of the fun.
OFFER DIFFERENT OPTIONS
Beyond a gripping storyline, Havenless also throws problems your way that you must solve. You'll be presented with questions and two options, and you choose whichever suits your preference. Some choices cost nothing, while others require diamonds. Each decision you make also shapes how the story unfolds.
Choices with different characteristics often appear throughout the episodes, and you never know exactly when they'll show up. If you don't have enough resources to unlock a choice, you'll need to progress through episodes to earn them. This means you won't experience the game just once, but many times over, uncovering options you couldn't reach before and discovering new paths through the story.
