The story of Guild of Heroes follows a hero who joins the fight against evil forces led by a dark mage. You'll push through one enemy after another as you work your way toward the villain at the top. Meanwhile, in a forest, a clash between a good and an evil sorcerer unfolds, and you'll guide the hero through waves of minions while protecting your allies. In the end, the forces of good always prevail.

The radiant energy blast of the noble faction drove back and defeated the evil sorcerer. Moments later, he fell, but not before placing a powerful curse on the hero, and the leftover power scattered into the air. Worse still, the hero's mighty weapon was completely shattered, leaving him near death. His companions used their remaining power to revive him and urged him to set out once more to reclaim his strength. That is where your adventure in the game truly begins.

OVERCOME CHALLENGES AND BUILD YOUR STRENGTH

The hero you control in Guild of Heroes starts out as a novice with no special abilities, aside from the two skills he has used before. He'll travel across different lands, battling enemies and searching for rare equipment and new skills. The gameplay is easy to pick up, since it doesn't demand the intricate control found in many other RPG titles.

You move your character by tapping the screen to choose where he goes. He attacks automatically whenever an enemy comes into range, and you can also turn on Auto Play. Some battles call for skill use to bring down foes, and boss fights require your full attention. Every boss has unique attacks with areas of effect you need to watch closely so you can dodge them and keep up your offense.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT CLASS AND COLLECT GEAR

In Guild of Heroes your character isn't locked into one class. He begins as a warrior, but you can experiment with other roles simply by swapping weapons. Equipping a bow or a staff immediately changes the skills available to you, which gives you a chance to test out different classes and see which one fits you best.

As you progress, you'll collect weapons and skills of varying rarity. Each item is color-coded, so over time you'll build up impressive skills and gear. You can spend diamonds to open equipment chests, but early on it's wise to hold off. Once you feel confident in your abilities, PvP mode is the place to test your skills against other players.
