Cities of the World - Quiz: Guess the City by Photo
This game puts your knowledge to the test with an exciting quiz in which you identify famous cities from pictures of their most iconic landmarks.
Gameplay
When the game starts, pick a quiz difficulty from three options. The first level features well-known cities such as Moscow, Barcelona, Saint Petersburg, Dresden and other famous destinations, while the second level presents tougher cities to identify.
Examples include Vladivostok, Gdansk, Nagoya, Rotterdam, Karlovy Vary and more. On the final difficulty level, you'll need to name the country shown in each photo. For instance, if the image shows Moscow, the correct answer is Russia. Once you've chosen your difficulty, select a game mode to begin.
Each mode in the app offers its own distinct gameplay. In Easy mode, for instance, you piece together the name of a city one letter at a time.
If you can't come up with the city name, you can tap the letters on screen, and the app will let you know right away when you pick the wrong next letter.
Hard mode takes away all hints, so you have to guess the entire word yourself. Quizzes can show either 4 or 6 answer options, and keep in mind that you only get 3 lives.
There's also a timed challenge: name at least 25 cities within 1 minute to earn a star for finishing the mode.
