Going Deeper!: Colony Sim features six layers in total: the surface and five levels underground. Tunnels link the layers together, and the deeper you dig, the more materials you'll need for construction. Caves in particular hold far richer resources, but the deeper areas also come with greater risks.
Your job is to harvest resources that sustain the lives of your people. You'll also need to repel enemies, locate valuable minerals, and assign workers wisely so nothing goes to waste. Maintaining the wealth of your colony calls for a clever strategy, and the choices you make early on will shape how the rest of the game unfolds, so don't give up at the start.
A VARIETY OF WORKFORCE SOURCES
You begin with just five miners working a vast stretch of land. That may seem like a small crew, but if you keep everyone productive, your workforce will steadily grow. Distributing your workers intelligently will also strengthen both your manpower and your physical resources. Keep in mind that every worker has their own personality and skill set, so matching the right job to the right person is crucial. You can train each individual so they grow into skilled craftsmen.

Going Deeper!: Colony Sim lets you quickly uncover rich deposits beneath the ground. Of course, thieves will be lurking to steal what you mine, so you'll need to assign guards to protect your stockpiles. You must also supply your workers with food and water so they can keep working and fight off enemies.
