Description

Rise as a Gladiator and Claim Victory in Rome's Grand Arenas

Step into a gladiator's boots and battle your way to glory through intense arena combat. Experience real-time cross-platform online 1vs1 multiplayer battles!

Gladihoppers is an unconventional 2D physics-based gladiator combat simulator that merges realistic physics mechanics with hand-drawn 2D animation to deliver gameplay that stands apart from typical gladiator mobile titles. The fighting system includes two distinct combat stances, each equipped with directional strikes of different force and velocity, enabling more strategic and varied combat encounters.

Beyond hand-to-hand combat, warriors can hurl javelins and customize their fighter with over 90 distinct items including swords, axes, maces, shields, headgear, body armor, leggings, gauntlets and footwear.

Gladihoppers combines retro pixel-art 2D character sprites with minimalist 3D polygon landscapes to deliver a distinctive visual aesthetic and breathtaking graphics that pull you into authentic gladiatorial combat.

Features: – Multiplayer battles against random opponents or invite friends – Dynamic melee and projectile fighting with precise hitdetection for every limb – Story mode offering multiple strategies and paths to champion status – 'Spartacus' War' mode with factions, military forces and territories to seize – 'Save the Emperor' endless arcade challenge for continuous action – Quick battles for custom or random short duels, with split-screen local multiplayer – Over 100 gear options and 16 unique fighter variations from four ancient civilizations: Romans, Gauls, Nubians and Egyptians – Seven distinctive battlegrounds: The Colosseum, Aegyptus, Macedonia, Gallia, Hispania, The Ludus & The Palace
