Description
Ghost Racing: Formula E stands out among racing games released so far. It focuses entirely on Formula E, so you won't find any vintage or retro cars here. Every vehicle is electric. Since electric motorsport is gaining serious momentum today, it's no surprise the developers chose this direction. What matters most is the execution: this is the first racing title to model open-wheel electric cars with such attention to detail.
The project has plenty going for it. The developers integrated real telemetry data, yet the game still runs smoothly on today's mobile devices without demanding excessive hardware. The graphics are impressively detailed, with the entire surrounding world carefully crafted. Its scale is anything but modest. Live race commentary is another feature, which is a rare innovation for this genre.
The artificial intelligence is hard to fault. Opponents don't follow simple, predictable patterns that would let you outsmart the computer. Their behavior is difficult to anticipate, even for experienced drivers. Real-time multiplayer racing is not yet available. The game hosts a large number of tournaments on a regular schedule, and when none are running, you can join other events. The AI mainly serves players who can't yet race against real opponents, while the community of human players is growing quickly. The developers are working hard to build an active community with strong communication tools.
