Once you discover a planet containing LiveMetal, you'll likely stay there for a long time. Your first task is to explore the new world, assessing its conditions, opportunities, and dangers. Then you'll focus on extracting as much LiveMetal as possible. With this material, building roads, communication stations, transport networks, and a system for trading goods between planets becomes possible.
The more LiveMetal a player successfully mines, the faster construction proceeds on their planets.
Build an army to fight
Every planet hosts species that resist the human presence. To survive, open the way for exploration, and pursue greater goals later on, you must build a strong army. This force should be large, follow your commands without hesitation, and handle both light and heavy weapons with skill.
Anyone who threatens your construction or stands in the way of your exploration will face this army's full force.
Building a modular human base
Once you settle into a new planet and choose a suitable site, you'll begin using the LiveMetal at your disposal to construct your own facilities. You'll start with a research station and a communication station, then progress to more advanced structures such as mining operations and living quarters for your people. Each planet has its own surface characteristics, so the way you mine LiveMetal and put it to use will vary from world to world.
Galaxy Explorer: New Home lets players construct in a modular fashion. You can pick the precise spot on the screen to begin raising your alien empire.
