Gameplay
Food Fight TD: Tower Defense uses a vertical screen layout, which is quite unusual for a tower defense title and marks a real departure from the norm. It is not just a simple tower defense game, though. It is also an arena where many players can interact and compete strategically. During a battle, the screen splits into two halves: the top shows your opponent, and the bottom is your own playing field. Each side must defend its kitchen, and whoever fails to hold their defenses loses.
Every match starts with 100 energy. Your first defensive unit costs 10 energy, and each unit after that costs an extra 10, while your energy regenerates every second. Units appear randomly, at random positions and ranks. Dragging and dropping two units of the same rank can upgrade them or create a higher-ranked unit.
Beyond summoning more units, you can spend 100 energy to upgrade units already on the field. To win a PvP match, you need a sharp strategy that outlasts your opponent, and the player who survives to the end takes the victory.
Characters in the kitchen
Since the battles take place in the kitchen, the defending units are all vegetables or finished dishes. You'll meet familiar foods such as Hamburgers, French fries, Strawberries, Chili, and Ice cream cones.
Every dish and vegetable is weaponized with its own unique power. The Hamburger, for example, fires a machine gun from the front. Potato chips pack a laser gun, Chili breathes fire from a flamethrower, and the country snail ice cream uses a slowing wand. The sandwich wields electric batons. It's a unique idea: food standing up to fight for its own home.
Mission and ranking system
Food Fight TD: Tower Defense offers many kinds of missions to keep things fresh, including daily missions, season missions, and career missions.
