Evolution 2: Battle for Utopia is a sci-fi action shooter set in a ruined near-future world. Controls are simple: swipe left and right to move, which also lets you dodge, and tap to fire at foes that lock on automatically. Lead your elite soldiers through a wasteland crawling with unknown giant creatures and hostile forces.

GO THROUGH PLENTY OF WEAPONS

Blast enemies with a sniper rifle. Every mission offers a wide selection of guns, from standard assault rifles to powerful Gatling guns and shotguns. The sniper rifle switches to a dedicated scope view, letting you take precise shots.

SHOOTING ACTION WITHOUT COMPLICATED CONTROLS

Enemy attacks appear as red zones on the screen. Just move left and right to get out of harm's way, so the basics are easy to pick up. Shooting targets and fires at nearby enemies automatically, meaning even players who aren't skilled at action games can have a great time. Take control of the battlefield with one-tap grenades and sniper rifles that turn into scope views.

Enemies range from humanoid soldiers to giant monsters. Different foes show up depending on the stage, so you'll need to rely on a broad arsenal to take them down. Wiping out a whole group at once with a high-power area grenade or rocket launcher feels incredibly satisfying.

CHOOSE YOUR WEAPONS AND HEAD OUT WITH FRIENDS

Pick your companions and loadout in the setup screen before entering combat. You can swap your weapons for each mission, with one main and one sub weapon. Support members unleash powerful attacks when you tap their icons, much like using special weapons. Their abilities recharge over time, so save them for the moments that matter most.

BUILD NEW ITEMS IN THE FACTORY

Strengthen your players and weapons at the workshop. As you advance, the workshop unlocks, letting you craft items that give you an edge in battle. There you can make medkits to restore stamina, upgrade your characters and weapons, and more.

GAME PROGRESSION

The game opens with an intro movie. It's well worth watching, since the graphics rival those of a film or premium consumer product!
After you start and clear roughly three stages, new allies will join your squad.
A red-faced racer named Redface was in trouble, and by helping it out, it became your ally.
Winning battles rewards you with materials and weapons for upgrades.
Metals can be used to strengthen characters and weapons, while igneous rocks serve as research materials in the lab.
The cast is strong and varied, regardless of gender.

HOW TO PLAY EVOLUTION 2: BATTLE FOR UTOPIA

Research in the lab to develop new weapons! New elements are unlocked one after another, so follow the guidance during the early stages. The lab is also where you mine resources and develop new weapons.

Level Up Your Players and Weapons

Boost your main character, Captain Blake, and raise his stamina. Use the reinforcement materials you earn by clearing stages to power up either your characters or your weapons. Upgrading a character raises their stamina, while upgrading a weapon increases its attack power. Level up whichever you prefer as soon as you collect enough materials.

Watch for Bosses Ready to Be Finished Off

Make sure to finish the final encounter with a stylish headshot. The boss waiting at the end of each stage sometimes rides a gun turret. Regular fire can wear down its remaining health, but occasionally you'll need to aim carefully with a sniper for the killing blow.
