Description
Dunk City Dynasty is a mobile streetball simulator for Android. Players build a squad of basketball athletes to compete in street matches, and the game leans heavily on cartoon-style visuals and flashy special effects. A tutorial walks players through the basics, such as interacting with basketball bots and pulling off a slam dunk. Although manual control and a wide range of offensive and defensive moves are available, the final result of a match is largely out of your hands, and this becomes clear already in the early stages and only grows more pronounced. The game offers several modes, along with the option to train your athletes so they perform at their peak. A voice-over commentator is a welcome touch, and the gameplay moves along at a brisk pace without feeling dragged out. The main drawback is that, since the servers are located in Asia, players outside the region may experience high ping.
