Description
Dota Underlords is a standalone Auto Chess-style game from Valve, now available for Android devices. As mobile gaming worldwide has seen a surge in turn-based battles played on a chessboard, the creators of Dota 2 chose to join the trend. Back in late 2018, Valve had already launched Artifact, a card game also built around the heroes of the popular multiplayer title Dota 2, but it flopped soon after release. The developers were forced to shelve it and move on to new projects, and now they have finally released Underlords. Meanwhile, the Chinese studio Drodo was the first to bring out a mobile game called Auto Chess Mobile, based on the user-made map of the same name for Dota 2. Gamers have embraced the newcomer warmly, and it has become one of the most popular mobile games anywhere in the world.
