Description
Klei Entertainment, the studio behind the survival game Don't Starve, has recently released a new single-player expansion made in collaboration with CAPY, the developer known for Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery, Super Time Force, and Below. Stay alert and keep your eyes open, because you've been stranded on an island!
While playing, Wilson finds himself lost in a chain of mysterious islands. Having been moved to an entirely new planet, he must relearn how to survive in its unfamiliar ecosystems and adapt to the unusual seasons and creatures that call it home. Don't let the pleasant tropical weather fool you into a false sense of security; despite many positive changes, life here is still harsh and unforgiving. As you explore the islands and venture into their interiors, you'll discover a wide range of dangerous predators lurking around every corner.
The goal of the game is to cross the ocean from one side to the other. Players must build their own ship and then set sail on their own. Another part of the adventure has them navigating a world where everything has been transformed. The protagonists are forced to scavenge for food and explore unfamiliar biomes to gather useful materials. New monsters are hunting you, and you need to escape them as fast as possible. Every season in Brave New Seasons is shaped by the tropics and works against you at every turn. To survive, players must bring their absolute best in this demanding setting. On top of that, the game adds new recipes for crafting tools that help you endure the hostile environment of the islands.
