For years, humanity and demons have been locked in conflict. Humans are fighting to rid their homeland of monsters, while the forces of darkness aim to enslave people and dominate the whole world. You'll guide the brave heroes through a thrilling journey and across fierce, bloody battles.

The story mode is split into several dozen levels. On each one, you assemble a squad, place your units on the battlefield, and then join the fight. Battles unfold in very different locations: the defenders of the human race hold one side, while monsters from the underworld march in from the opposite end. Characters come in several classes. Some act as tanks with heavy armor, so they belong at the front of the formation. Others wield sharp blades, followed by archers, healers, and wizards. Every hero needs a fitting spot in the squad. You decide where they stand and can rearrange the formation whenever you like.

In battle, heroes fight enemies on their own, using a mix of skills and basic attacks. Successful actions build energy, which powers up a main skill. If you prefer, turn on auto-battle and simply watch the fight unfold. In the main menu, you can recruit new characters, improve their stats, and strengthen their primary abilities.
