After being beaten in the first part, the forces of darkness decided to pause briefly and regroup into a new army that is stronger and far more dangerous. Just like before, you will face both bizarre creatures and advanced military hardware, including robots and other unusual threats.

The gameplay mechanics stay true to the first part of the strategy. A path runs across the map, and enemy vehicles travel along it while you position several dozen towers along its sides. Simply select the tower you want and drag it onto an empty spot on the battlefield. Every turret can be upgraded multiple times, boosting its range, rate of fire and damage per projectile. You can also deploy extra explosive projectiles directly on the road, which detonate when enemies come into contact with them.

Between battles you can head back to the main menu to buy upgrades and bonuses and to improve your turrets. Overall, the second part of the strategy proves to be engaging, varied and pleasantly challenging. If the levels feel too easy, try switching to a different game mode.
