CS16Client is a straightforward app that lets you run the classic Counter-Strike 1.6 shooter on your phone or tablet. Note that the game files aren't bundled with the app, so you'll need a licensed copy of Counter-Strike from Steam. To get started, install this app and the original game client on your device. Next, create a folder named "xash" in the root directory of your device's internal storage, then copy the "valve" and "cstrike" folders from the game into it. Once that's done, launch the app, point it to the "xash" folder when prompted, and you're ready to play. The gameplay mechanics are exactly the same as the original; the only notable change is that the controls have been reworked for touchscreens. They feel comfortable to use and perform nearly as well as on other platforms.
