Description
Compass Pro
This app is a navigation tool that works like a regular compass, helping you find your bearings wherever you are.
Gameplay
A handy app for anyone who enjoys hiking and exploring. Much like a real compass, it lets you get your bearings at your current location and figure out which way to head.
The app shows the four main directions (west, east, south and north) and also displays the intermediate directions.
West is at 270 degrees, south is at 180, east is at 90, and north is at 0 degrees. To use it, place your device on a flat surface, just as you would with a traditional compass.
If the app seems to show inaccurate readings, you should calibrate it.
Calibration is quite simple: just rotate your device in a circle, and keep it away from large magnetic or metal objects. These can interfere with the magnetic sensor built into your device and cause the compass to show the wrong direction.
Key features
The app has a clean interface and plenty of options you can adjust to your liking. For this navigation tool to work on your smartphone, the device needs a built-in magnetic sensor. An internet connection is not required to run the app.
