In some modes you climb behind the wheel and drive by the traffic laws, while in others you need to rack up points to unlock a new car. The overall objectives shift as the story unfolds, much like in Need for Speed Mobile, and the developers put real care into the storytelling, although most of the time you can win without reading a single line of text.

Visually, CCD keeps pace with its rivals. At speeds above 300 kilometers per hour the world blurs past quickly, and when you're cruising it's easy to pick out other drivers and a few landmarks from the driver's seat, as well as how smoothly the virtual drivers take corners.
