Description
Chinese Chess, Xiangqi (Professional Edition) Mod APK
Much like our Chinese Chess Xiangqi, this version comes without ads. Xiangqi, often called Chinese chess, is a two-player strategy game and a popular board game in China. It belongs to the same family as janggi, Western (International) chess and the ancient Indian game chaturanga.
The aim of this game is to pit two armies against each other and capture the enemy's general (king). What sets xiangqi apart is the cannon (pao), which must jump over another piece to capture; a rule forbidding the two generals from ever facing each other directly on an open file; and the river and palace zones on the board. These limits constrain movement while boosting the power of certain pieces. Another distinctive feature is that pieces are placed on the intersections of the lines rather than inside the squares.
