Just like real golf, the aim is to finish with as few points as possible. A match is made up of nine rounds. At the start of each round, every player is dealt 4 face-down cards, and the remaining cards form a draw pile. The top card of the draw pile is flipped face up to begin a discard pile. Before play starts, each player may peek at the two cards closest to them in their square layout, but only once. Keep what you see hidden from your opponent. After that, you can only look at your layout cards again when you discard or score them. On your turn, you may draw from the draw pile and use the card to replace any one of the four cards in your layout, without looking at the face of the card you're replacing. Try to remember what's underneath. The card you swap out goes onto the face-up discard pile. You also have the option to draw from the discard pile, or to take the drawn card and discard it immediately without using it. When you draw from the discard pile, you must use that card to replace one of your layout cards, then discard the card you removed. You can't simply put the drawn card back without changing your layout. At any point, a player may knock. Once you knock, your turn ends, and the other player gets one final turn to draw or discard, but cannot knock. The round then ends. Scoring - Any matching pair of cards in a column or row is worth 0 points - Jokers are worth -2 points - Kings are worth 0 points - Queens and Jacks are worth 10 points - All other cards are worth their rank - Four of the same card together is worth -6 points You can play against an AI bot, or challenge friends on the same device or online. Six Cards Golf Rules This game is also for two players, and the goal is again to score as few points as possible. A match consists of nine rounds. At the start of each round, every player receives 6 face-down cards, and the rest go into a draw pile. The top card is turned face up to start the discard pile. To begin, each player must reveal two of their own cards. After that, you can lower the value of your layout by swapping cards for lower-value ones, or by matching cards of equal rank in the same column. On each turn, you draw a single card from either the draw pile or the discard pile. You can either swap it with one of your own cards or discard it outright. If you swap it for a face-down card, the card that comes in is shown face up. If you discard the drawn card, your turn passes to the next player. The round ends once all of a player's cards are face up. Scoring - Any matching pair of cards in a column is worth 0 points - Jokers are worth -2 points - Kings are worth 0 points - Queens and Jacks are worth 20 points - All other cards are worth their rank To swap one of your cards with the top discard, tap that card. To play a card from the deck, tap the draw pile to flip it, then either tap the discard pile to discard it or tap one of your cards to swap.
