A twist on Spades is a trick-taking game that also offers online multiplayer.

This new version of the popular card game Callbreak Multiplayer brings online multiplayer action to your device.

Callbreak is a four-player trick-taking game played with a standard 52-card deck, typically over five rounds. Before the first hand, seating positions are set and the opening dealer is chosen: each player draws a card at random, and the order of those cards decides who deals first and where everyone sits. After that, the deal passes counterclockwise from round to round. To start each round, the dealer gives themselves 13 cards face down, then deals one face-up card to each other player anticlockwise, beginning with the player on the dealer's right.

Starting with the player to the dealer's right, every participant announces a bid for the number of tricks they expect to take in the current hand. In Callbreak, spades are the highest-ranking suit. You must follow the suit led if you can; if you cannot, you must play a spade to try to win the trick; and if you have neither, you can play any card. To give yourself the best chance of taking a trick, it's usually wise to play the highest card in your hand. The player on the dealer's right leads the first trick with any suit, and play moves counterclockwise. A trick is won by the highest spade played or, if no spade appears, by the highest card of the suit led. The winner leads the next trick. If you take exactly the number of tricks you bid, you score successfully, and each extra trick, known as an overtrick, adds 0.1 points. Failing to meet your bid reduces your total score. After four rounds, players add up their scores to set their target for the fifth round. The player with the highest total after the final round is declared the winner, with the runner-up in second place.
