Important Note!
Many of you already know that Android 9.0 and 10.0 brought major changes to call recording. This affects all manufacturers. On Android 9.0, our ability to capture both sides of a call has been reduced, and in many cases only your own voice is recorded by default. Some devices may still let you record both the audio and video sides of a call, which can be frustrating during private conversations. We recently released an update that captures both sides of the audio and requests the necessary access permission for Total Recall during installation. However, the audio quality may not match that of earlier OS versions.
We can also record both sides of calls on all major brands and models, but this feature is only available to rooted users. The new technology uses root to bypass this restriction and is built on the Magisk systemless module, which provides direct access to both audio and text. Systemless means no changes are written directly to the device's /system directory, which prevents irreversible changes to your device's core. The module can also be unloaded whenever you wish.
