Button Savior (Root) needs root access for full functionality, though some keys still work without it. Non-root users on Jelly Bean (4.1) and newer can also get Button Savior Non Root to enjoy the same features.

Works from 1.5 to 4.0 (ICS). If you're worried about damaging your hardware keys, have broken ones, or simply lack physical keys on your device, Button Savior makes things much easier. Button Savior V2.1 is even better. On KitKat devices, you can hide the status bar or bottom navigation bar to free up more screen space! The app displays a floating software key panel that you can call up anywhere, at any time. Button Savior 1.1.6 and later also supports E-INK displays, thanks to special themes created by XDA member Berlinski.

Non-root users can still use the power off, Home, Camera, Call, and volume keys, or install Button Savior Non Root if they're running Jelly Bean or newer.
