Brave Ronin – The Ultimate Samurai Warrior is an ideal pick for fans of the hack and slash genre, particularly those who enjoy its Japanese style. The gameplay is fairly straightforward and free of overly complex mechanics, making it a great first choice for anyone looking for relaxed fun. As you take part in fierce battles, you'll also get to admire the beauty of Japan recreated throughout the game.
The Samurai's Story
You may already know Japan as the “Land of the Rising Sun,” a nation renowned for its rich traditions and strong cultural identity. It was also here that many of the most skilled samurai were born and trained. Entrusted with honorable duties, they pledged their loyalty to their masters. At that time, fighting had just erupted between several rival samurai clans, and it seemed that countless lives would be lost in the conflict.
The Minamoto family, regarded as the most powerful of all, never expected the mighty Taira clan to launch an assault against them. The war left nearly the entire Minamoto clan destroyed, with only one survivor, Rei. He departed from that place resolved to return, avenge his family, and reclaim everything the Taira had taken from him. In this game, you take on the role of Rei on his path of vengeance, rising to become the strongest samurai everyone must fear.
Becoming a Legendary Warrior
Knowing that Rei is still alive and returning to destroy them, the Taira have strengthened their defenses everywhere in an effort to stop you at any cost. Along this grueling journey, you'll face numerous obstacles, including the other samurai the Taira have dispatched against you. With only your sword in hand, can you defeat them all? Rei's fate now rests in your hands.
At every step, you may encounter a lone samurai, or sometimes two or three may appear at once to ambush you without warning. These moments call for your skills and moves to strike all of them at the same time. To succeed, you must stay alert in every situation, since even a few seconds of carelessness could allow them to close in and bring you down quickly.
Are you ready to become a mighty samurai and fight to avenge your entire clan in Brave Ronin? The great responsibility resting on your shoulders is heavy, but it won't stop you. Pick up your sword and get ready to help Rei.
