If you clear the remaining pins on your second throw, that's a "Spare". If you still have pins standing after two throws, the number you knocked down in those attempts becomes your score for the frame.

New players may want to skip spin at first and simply roll straight to get a feel for the ball's path. Once you're comfortable, experiment with spin to add flair and make your shots look more polished and satisfying. Try to keep the ball away from the gutters on either side, since once it drops into them, you won't earn any points.

World Bowling Tournament
