Join the BLUE ANGELS team and fly at 400 mph, just 18 inches from your wingmate. This simulator is licensed by the U.S. Navy. OFFICIAL AND SPECIAL BOXES
Get familiar with aerobatics through a 3D briefing. Take full control of the aircraft and use the smoke deployer and rudder landing gear, timing each activation perfectly. Fly every opening maneuver in your C-130 Fat Albert, performing either PARADE PASS or ASSAULT LANDING. There are no restrictions, so it's up to you to execute them well. Once ready, sit alone in the cockpit and perform an AILERON ROLL to get comfortable with the F/A-18. After that, you'll be able to fly in formation.
AIRSHOW
Plan your own show by building real aerobatic routines based on faithfully recreated locations such as NAF El Centro, NAS Key West, Reno, Elmendorf AFB, and Baltimore. Your goal is to complete every airshow. You can do this by flying the actual maneuvers in sequence or in any order you like. The choice is yours. For each maneuver, pick your role: the #1 FLIGHT LEADER, one of your wingmen, the #3 LEFT WING, or one of the soloists.
ADDITIVE MODE
Build your own aerobatic models in Additive Mode. Position your planes however you want, then decide whether they take flight. Begin with a normal flight or at high altitude, and take control of each plane in turn. Point the nose skyward, loop, and let the smoke trail follow. You can fly freely or in DIAMOND, DELTA, ECHELON, or LINE ABREAST formations. Create impressive combinations and relive them with multi-camera replays.
EXPERIENCE AND SCORES
The trajectory detection system measures your accuracy. The more precise you are at every stage of a maneuver, the better your result. To earn the experience and medals you need, complete every figure accurately. Achieve the highest score and you'll climb to the top of the leaderboard.
