Description
Battle City 3D
Protect your eagle-shaped base, pick up a variety of power-ups, and wipe out waves of enemy tanks.
Gameplay
Step back into the nostalgic vibe of the Dendy console and play the legendary "Tanks" game in a fresh, fully 3D version.
In classic mode, each level drops you onto the battlefield in a tank with three goals: destroy every enemy tank, defend your base, and survive the fight.
That's easier said than done, since every battlefield is packed with obstacles and terrain, including brick walls, concrete walls, bushes, ice, and water. A single tank shot is enough to destroy a brick wall, while a concrete wall can only be broken once you've collected enough stars to upgrade your tank.
Water stops tanks from moving through it but lets shells fly over, bushes hide enemy tanks and their shots from view, and ice makes your tank harder to steer. On the battlefield you'll face 4 types of enemy tanks.
Each type has its own armor durability and movement speed. You'll be fighting basic tanks, armored vehicles, fast tanks, and heavy tanks. Power-ups also appear on the battlefield from time to time to help you take down your enemies.
Game Features
The game offers several modes, including classic mode and a special mode that features two brand-new power-ups.
Enemy tanks can pick up bonuses too. Classic mode includes 35 exciting levels to conquer.
Once you clear a level, you can replay it, but the lineup of enemy tanks will change. A handy built-in editor also lets you design your own maps and play on them.
