Description
Avatar
This sci-fi adventure game falls under the action genre, and its storyline closely mirrors the movie it is named after.
Plot and Gameplay
As noted earlier, the action unfolds on Pandora, a breathtakingly beautiful, almost fairytale-like world filled with striking and unusual creatures. Yet the planet now faces the threat of total ruin, and the fault lies with ruthless Earthlings chasing profit (Pandora is rich in precious resources worth exploiting).
You play as Jake Sully, who bravely signs up for an experimental program that lets people control the bodies of the remarkable natives living on Pandora.
Only Jake can save the planet by completely reshaping how he views the locals. After falling in love with a native woman, the courageous hero turns against his former comrades-invaders.
Once war with the Earthlings breaks out, you'll start with nothing more than a bow and arrows. You'll need to master the native martial arts fast, or the fight is lost. Battles take you through a range of scenic landscapes, from mountain regions to dense jungles.
