Description
ASTAR
Immerse yourself in a brand-new reading experience as this app brings printed books and magazines into the digital realm using augmented reality. Watch illustrations leap off the page as animated 3D figures and interactive elements that you can directly command.
Gameplay
To get started, you will need a physical book displaying the official ASTAR logo on its front cover. Inside, specially marked pages highlight illustrations designed to activate interactive 3D models.
Leveraging cutting-edge AR technology, the app transforms flat illustrations into animated, speaking characters that move across your room, each equipped with its own distinct interactive story.
Direct their actions with ease using the on-screen virtual joystick or responsive touch buttons displayed right on your Android device.
For instance, aiming your camera at an airplane illustration equips your screen with flight controls so you can pilot it mid-air. Pointing it at armored combat vehicles lets you drive a battle tank, navigate tactical objectives, and engage in thrilling skirmishes.
Key Features
Turn static illustrations in compatible magazines and books into vibrant, interactive AR figures (requires official ASTAR-branded publications).
