You get a roster of heroes to choose from, each with their own set of abilities and fighting style. The game is split into locations presented as arenas, and each arena is further divided into levels. To advance, you must defeat every enemy on an arena, which then unlocks access to new worlds.

The game features an engaging swipe mechanic, but it only works in one direction, so you'll need to play carefully and stay within the arena boundaries. Enemies pop up in random spots and frequently attack in packs. Target the biggest group of monsters to conserve energy and weapon durability. Once every monster on the arena is down, your hero automatically moves on to a new location, where even tougher foes are waiting.

Clearing levels earns in-game currency, which you can spend to unlock new heroes. The stars you collect in the arenas are also key, since they open access to new worlds, so be sure not to miss any.
