Description
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Quran Completion Dua App This is the Dua for completing the Holy Quran, compiled by two scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah from the scholars of Al-Ahsa: Sheikh Abu Bakr bin Omar Al-Mulla (Hanafi) and Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdul Latif Al-Khatib Al-Ja'fari (Shafi'i), may Allah have mercy on them. It begins with praise of Allah, followed by a supplication for your deceased, including the reward of Quran recitation being delivered to them. Then comes a prayer for your own good and relief, and the supplication concludes with blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, his family and companions. We ask Allah for success and guidance. Then it is up to you to make dua. Praise be to Allah for that.
Note to those who judged this Dua or its app as Shi'a: Did you contact the app owner to verify this? Did you take the time to read the 'About the App' section, where you would learn that it was compiled by two distinguished scholars of Al-Ahsa from the Sunni tradition, one following the Hanafi school and the other the Shafi'i school? Or do you not know the four Sunni schools of thought and assumed that Hanafi and Shafi'i scholars belong to the Shi'a? Or did you hear of Al-Ahsa and assume that everyone there follows the Shi'a school? I say only what Allah the Almighty says: 'O you who have believed, if a defiant one comes to you with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.' And His saying: 'Glory be to You, this is a great slander.' Nevertheless, I forgive you for what you have accused me of.
