Description
Access Dots – Android 12/iOS 14 Privacy Indicators Mod APK
Did you know that once you grant a third-party app access to your phone's camera, microphone, or GPS location, it can use them silently in the background? Do you wish you had the new iOS 14 privacy feature that shows an indicator whenever the camera or microphone is accessed? You might have to wait until Android 12 brings the same feature to your device.
Access Dots supports Android versions all the way back to Android 7.0.
Access Dots adds iOS 14-style indicators (a few pixels that light up as a dot) to the top right corner of your screen by default, whenever any third-party app uses your phone's camera, microphone, or GPS location. Your lock screen gets Access Dots too!
To enable the Access Dots Accessibility Service, turn on the toggle switch inside the app and go to Settings > Accessibility > Downloaded/Installed Services > Access Dots. The default setup displays iOS 14-style colored access dots: green for camera access, orange for microphone access, and blue for GPS location. The app does not request camera or microphone permissions, but it does need GPS permission to monitor location access.
In its early beta stage, Access Dots offers the following features:
* Shows Access Dots whenever a third-party app engages your phone's camera, microphone, or GPS location.
* Keeps an access log, available from the app's main screen settings. The log records when the camera, microphone, or GPS location was accessed, which app was in the foreground when access began, and how long the access lasted.
* Lets you assign any color to each access point.
* On Android 10 and later, access dots stick beside the camera cutout by default (if your phone has one). You can also place them at custom X/Y coordinates.
* Access Dots can wrap around punch-hole cameras if your phone supports the 'Energy Ring – Universal Edition' app.
* Lets you change the size of the access dots.
You can change the Access Dots color to any shade you like for free, but please consider making a donation to support development. You can also adjust the size and position of the dots on your screen. 🙂
NOTE: If the system disables the app, you will need to restart your phone to reactivate the Access Dots.
